We discovered the charm of Banner Elk after being temporarily displaced from Asheville by Hurricane Helene. Having lived through both Helene and Katrina, we came to realize the value of having a peaceful retreat to turn to. That's what inspired us to purchase Cité Chalet - a place we’ve lovingly transformed into the mountain escape we had envisioned. Now, we're excited to open its doors to others seeking rest, renewal, and a bit of mountain magic.
